在给豚鼠口服或通过腹腔注射4,4'-二硝基联苯后,4,4'-二乙酰联苯胺(4,4'-二乙酰氨基联苯)被排泄在尿液中。在大鼠中,4,4'-二硝基联苯的代谢速度比在豚鼠中要慢得多。在大鼠的尿液中发现了3-氯-4-氨基-4'-硝基联苯和3-氯-4-乙酰氨基-4'-硝基联苯,但在豚鼠的尿液中没有。显然,在大鼠中卤素化是4,4'-二硝基联苯、4-氨基-4'-硝基联苯和4-乙酰氨基-4'-硝基联苯这些代谢物的一个代谢途径。
FOLLOWING THE ORAL OR IP ADMIN OF 4,4'-DINITROBIPHENYL TO GUINEA PIGS, 4,4'-DIACETYLBENZIDINE (4,4'-DIACETYLAMINOBIPHENYL) WAS EXCRETED IN THE URINE. THE METABOLISM OF 4,4'-DINITROBIPHENYL IN THE RAT WAS CONSIDERABLY SLOWER THAN IN THE GUINEA PIG. 3-CHLORO-4-AMINO-4'-NITROBIPHENYL & 3-CHLORO-4-ACETAMIDO-4'-NITROBIPHENYL WERE FOUND IN THE URINE OF RATS BUT NOT OF GUINEA PIGS. APPARENTLY, IN THE RAT HALOGENATION OCCURS IN A METABOLIC PATHWAY FOR THE METABOLITES OF 4,4'-DINITROBIPHENYL, 4-AMINO-4'-NITROBIPHENYL & 4-ACETAMIDO-4'-NITROBIPHENYL.
