  The aerial parts of Baccharis pedunculata afforded, in addition to known compounds, two C-16-acetylenes and four C-17-acetylenic carboxylic acids as well as four labdane derivatives. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR spectroscopy. Biogenetic aspects are discussed briefly.
