  The 4,4′,6,6′-tetrasubstituted 2,2′-alkylidenebis(phenols) 1 reacted with CISCOI to give spiro[1,3-benzoxathiepin-4(5H), 1′-cyclohexa[2,4]diene]-2,2′-diones 4, together with cyclic carbonates 5. The structures of the products were elucidated mainly by 13C-NMR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy.

  4,4'，6,6'-四取代的2,2'-亚烷基双（酚）1与CISCOI反应，生成螺[1,3-苯并噻吩-4（5 H），1'-环己基[2,4]二烯] -2,2'-二酮4以及环状碳酸酯5。产物的结构主要通过13 C-NMR和1 H-NMR光谱来阐明。
