  The reaction of F-hept-1-ene together with aromatic and aliphatic alcohols has been investigated. In the case of disodiumphenolsulfonate, trans-F-hept-2-enyl-1-oxybenzenesulfonate was formed, exclusively. The structure of this new fluorosurfactant was confirmed by means of 19FNMR. In contrast, phenoxide and alkoxide yield a mixture of products, including the isomers of allylic and vinylic substitution
