A series of s-cis fixed sterically hindered 1,3-dienes with substituents at 1 and 4 positions of the diene system were synthesized starting from 1,1,2,2,3,3-hexamethylindan via Birch reduction and ruthenium tetroxide oxidation. All compounds structurally related to muconic acid possess E,E configuration at both double bonds.
以 1,1,2,2,3,3-hexamethylindan 为起点,通过桦木还原和四氧化钌氧化,合成了一系列在二烯体系的 1 和 4 位上具有取代基的 s-cis 固定立体受阻 1,3 二烯。所有与粘多酸结构相关的化合物在两个双键上都具有 E,E 构型。
