New pyridine N-oxides as chiral organocatalysts in the asymmetric allylation of aromatic aldehydes

Asymmetric allylation of aromatic aldehydes 1 with allyltrichlorosilane (2) can be catalyzed by new terpene-derived bipyridine N,N′-dioxides 12–15 and an axially chiral biisoquinoline dioxide 17b with good enantioselectivities. Dioxides have been found to be more reactive catalysts than their monooxide counterparts.
新的萜烯衍生的联吡啶N,N'-二氧化物12 – 15和具有良好对映选择性的轴向手性二异喹啉二氧化物17b可以催化芳香醛1与烯丙基三氯硅烷(2)的不对称烯丙基化。已经发现二氧化物比它们的一氧化物对应物更具反应性。
