turn-off emission response after Au(III) is added via Au(III) coordination-induced disturbing of the TPE stacking. The nanoprobe AuP-2 showed high selectivity and sensitivity (5.924 ppb), a fast response time (signal response within 10 s), and a superior biocompatibility. Sensingapplications of Au(III) were also successfully demonstrated in cancer cells (COV-318, ovarian cancer cell), natural water samples
in modern biomedical research, such as biological sensing and imaging. However, the development of organic fluorophores with efficient aggregate state emissions expanded to the red to near-infrared region is still challenging. Here, we present a series of highly efficient Far Red/Near-Infrared (FR/NIR) fluorescent compounds with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties by attaching electron donor

Fine-tuning electron acceptors through changing one cyano group to an amide generates a more stable and emissive fluorophore with the character of aggregation-inducedemission. Conjugation between the new fluorophore and CFFKDEL generated an excellent ER targeting light-up probe with high specificity and good photostability.

A novelmoleculardesignstrategy is provided to rationally tune the stimuli response of luminescent materials with aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) characteristics. A series of new AIE‐active molecules (AIE rotors) are prepared by covalently linking different numbers of tetraphenylethene moieties together. Upon gradually increasing the number of rotatable phenyl rings, the sensitivity of the response
