Phosphorus-based dendrimers decorated with β-diketones were prepared and fully characterized. These macromolecules, which are the first examples of multivalent dendrimeric β-diketones, were tested as ligands for copper in O-arylations of 3,5-dimethylphenol by aryl bromides.
