The present invention provides substituted puleganic amides and compositions thereof, which are both useful as a topical treatment for skin, such as a repellant for insects and arthropods.
Disclosed are methods for treating catmint oil. The treated catmint oil can be used for the production of hydrogenated catmint oil, which is enriched in the insect repellent, dihydronepetalactone.

By the methods of small parameter and finite integral transformation, we determine the nonstationary two-dimensional distribution of temperature in a circular eccentric tube subjected to the action of normal compressive stresses applied to its lateral surfaces under the conditions of convective heat exchange with an ambient medium and the quasistatic thermoelastic and thermoelastoplastic states of this tube.
