    In the present research, two novel metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) containing Cu(II) ions as nodes [Cu(L)]center dot 2DMF center dot 2H(2)O}(n) (1) and [(CH3)(2)NH2][Cu-2(L)(H2O)PO4]center dot 2DMF}(n) (2) have been constructed by using 5-(1-Himidazol-1-yl)isophthalic acid (H2L), the dual-functional organic ligand featuring an imidazole part to isophthalic acid 5-position. Because of its robust framework structure and the high density of open metal positions, the activated 1 (denoted as 1a) could adsorb CO2 and efficiently convert them into cyclic carbonates under the mild conditions. Their treatment activity on the recovery of motor function after stroke in rats was evaluated. Firstly, the beam walking assay was implemented to determine rats motor function after treated with compounds. Next, the differentiation levels of the neural stem cells were also determined with western bot.
