The method also includes a process by which to increase the THC content and decrease the weight of Cannabis extracts or residue from distillation of Cannabis extracts containing a low concentration of THC, comprising treatment of such materials with water-missible organic solvents followed by filtration and evaporation of the solvent to obtain the concentrated residue.
