Asymmetric aldol condensations using titanium enolates of (R)-camphorselenoacetone and of methyl (R)-camphorselenoacetate are reported. The reactions with aromatic, α,β-unsaturated or aliphatic aldehydes proceed with good chemical yields giving a mixture of the syn and anti aldols.
