    The NH2 group serves as an effective leaving group in the palladiumcatalyzed regioselective and stereospecific title reaction (see scheme). The reaction works well with aryl‐ and alkenylboronic acids and aryl‐, alkenyl‐, allyl‐, and benzylboronates, and complete transfer of chirality has been achieved when using α‐chiral primary allylic amines as the allylic electrophiles.

    A one-pot approach towards β-methylstyrenes is reported. The transformation involves a Stille cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with allyltributylstannane, followed by an in situ Pd-catalyzed double bond conjugative migration.

    A new method for the synthesis of furyl-substituted 1,3-dienes via palladium-catalyzed oxidative cross-coupling of conjugated enynones with allylarenes is developed. This reaction shows broad substrate scope and good functional group tolerance. Palladium carbene migratory insertion is proposed as the key step for this transformation with conjugated enynones serving as the carbene precursors.

    The gold(I)-catalyzed reaction of bromoalkynes with allylsilanes gives 1,4-enynes in a formal cross-coupling reaction. Mechanistic studies revealed the involvement of gold(I) vinylidenes or vinylidenephenonium gold(I) cations depending on the substituent on the bromoalkyne. In the case of bromo arylalkynes, the vinylidenephenonium gold(I) cations lead to 1,4-enynes via a 1,2-aryl rearrangement. The same reactivity has been observed in the presence of InBr3.
