  The invention relates to compositions useful in the treatment of female subjects suffering from menopause related symptoms. There is a strong-felt need for effective treatment and management of such symptoms, which do not rely on estrogen administration. The present invention to provide such compositions, in particular in the form of dietary supplements, comprising one or more proanthocyanidins in combination with hyaluronic acid, optionally in combination with one or more other agents that aid in the suppression, alleviation or prevention of menopause associated symptoms and/or improve the overall well-being of the subject. The invention further provides the use of these compositions in methods of treating perimenopausal, menopausal and postmenopausal female subjects in need thereof.
