  Pharmaceutical compositions in unit dosage form comprising a compound of the formula: wherein R is H, C1-C4 alkyl,-CH2CH2(C1-C4 alkoxy) or benzyl; or a zinc complex thereof, or an alkali metal salt of said compound or complex, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier. Also included are the compounds of the formula (I) or (II), or their zinc complexes or alkali metal salts, for use in treating a fungal infection in a human being. The zinc complexes of the formulae (I) and (II), and the compounds of the formula (I) and (II) and their alkali metal salts, in which R is C2-C4 alkyl, -CH2CH2(C1-C4 alkoxy) or benzyl, are claimed per se; also claimed are processes for their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
