  A series of derivatives of 2‐hydroxy‐3‐methylbut‐2‐ and ‐3‐enenitrile, including β‐D‐glucopyranosides, were obtained and their 1H and 13CNMR spectra were investigated. The spectra were assigned using lanthanide‐induced shifts, NOE difference spectroscopy and deuterium labelling.
