Synthesis of polyoxomolybdate-quinoline compounds beads for catalytic oxidative desulfurization

The polyoxomolybdate-quinoline compounds, [Cnquin]4Mo8O26 (Cnquin = N-alkylquinolinium, n = 2,5,8), have been successfully synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, IR spectrum, elemental analysis and TGA, etc. The compounds have relatively high stability with decomposing temperature up to about 300 °C. Here the polyoxomolybdate-quinoline compounds were applied in removal of sulfur-containing compounds
