An efficient organocatalytic quadruple cascadereaction resulting in spiroxindole scaffolds bearing five quaternary stereocenters is reported. An efficient stereoselective synthesis of various 3-(3-dimethylaminoprop-2-enylidene)oxindoles has been disclosed.
