  （烷氧基甲基）氧杂环戊烷与硫脲在甲醇中的反应得到了相应的噻喃，并且已经研究了产物的无催化剂热脱硫。脱硫的主要产物是醇和烯烃，在（聚氟烷氧基甲基）硫杂环丁烷及其非氟化类似物的情况下。在脱硫过程中，硫烷中较长的烷基链比烯烃的形成更有利于醇的形成。

  afforded the corresponding thiiranes, and catalyst-free thermal desulfurization of the products has been studied. The major products of desulfurization are alcohols and alkenes, both in the cases of (polyfluoroalkyloxymethyl)thiiranes and their non-fluorinated analogs. Longer alkyl chain in thiiranes favors formation of alcohols over alkenes formation in the course of desulfurization.
