Efficient preparation and properties of triazole-linked corannulene derivatives
摘要:
In this study, we explore the potential of copper(I)-catalyzed cycloaddition reaction between azides and terminal alkynes to prepare corannulene-rich materials. For this purpose, a practical route is established to yield corannulene-based azide building blocks. The newly prepared corannulene-azides are then coupled with known corannulene-alkynes. The chemical yields of the dimerization reactions ranged from 80 to 90%. In this way, a number of triazole-linked corannulene derivatives varying in the geometry, length, and the triazole-content are prepared. These results suggest that alkyne-azide click reaction can serve as a useful synthetic tool in the preparation of corannulene-rich discrete oligomers as well as polymers. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. Triphenylamine-based fluorophores containing pyrene or corannulene show variable fluorescence quenching sensitivity toward nitro explosives. The most sensitive fluorophore is capable of detecting TNT on the ng cm−2 scale; the array is useful for identifying nitro aromatics.
含有芘或芫荽烯的三苯胺基荧光团对硝基炸药显示出不同的荧光淬灭灵敏度。最灵敏的荧光团能够检测到 ng cm-2 级的 TNT;该阵列可用于识别硝基芳烃。

We report a metal- and oxidant-free aromatic C–C bond cleavage in the curved corannulene skeleton. Reaction of 1-aminocorannulene with hydrazonyl chloride generates an amidrazone intermediate that undergoes facile intramolecular proton migrations and ring annulation to give a 1,2,4-triazole derivative of planar benzo[ghi]fluoranthene, in which the release of strain associated with the curved π-surface
