Isolation and Characterization of a New Allelochemical from Seeds of Adenanthera pavonina Linn.

A new allelochemical (1), m.p. 282-284 ºC, m.f. C31H36O19, [M]+ 712 (FABMS), has been isolated from methanolic extract of the seeds of Adenanthera pavonina Linn. alongwith two known compounds 2,4,7-trihydroxy isoflavone and isovitexin. The structure of a new compound was characterized as 3,5,7,3,4-pentahydroxy flavone-3-O-a-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1®4)-O-a-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1®3)-O-b-D-xylopyranoside, by various colour reactions, spectral analysis and chemical degradations.
从Adenanthera pavonina Linn.的种子甲醇提取物中分离出一种新的植物化学物质(1),熔点为282-284 ºC,分子式为C31H36O19,[M]+ 712(FABMS),以及两种已知的化合物2,4,7-三羟基异黄酮和异牡荆素。通过多种颜色反应、光谱分析和化学降解,新化合物的结构被确定为3,5,7,3,4-五羟基黄酮-3-O-a-L-鼠李糖吡喃糖基-(1®4)-O-a-L-阿拉伯糖吡喃糖基-(1®3)-O-b-D-木糖吡喃糖苷。
