Synthesis, crystal structures and spectral characterization of imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidin-2-yl-acetic acid and related analog with imidazo[2,1-b]thiazole ring
Energy Distribution (PED) analysis of computed normalvibrations. Special attention was paid on hydroxyl and methylene groups involved in hydrogen bonds, which vibrations were monitored by H/Dsubstitution. Recrystallization of parent compounds from deuterium oxide (D 2 O) solutions resulted in deuteration of their carboxylic OH groups and almost complete deuteration of H IPM-2-ac methylene group.

Synthesis and biological evaluation of xanthine derivatives with phenacyl group as tryptophan hydroxylase 1 (TPH1) inhibitors for obesity and fatty liver disease
Tryptophan hydroxylase 1 (TPH1) has emerged as a target for the treatment of metabolic diseases including obesity and fatty liver disease. A series of xanthine derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their TPH1 inhibition. Among the synthesized compounds, compound 40 showed good in vitro activity and liver microsomal stability.
