Novelthin‐film materials have been produced fromindolo[3,2,1‐jk]carbazole (see picture). These are conducting and redox‐active and, unusually, consist of three distinct covalently coupled luminescent dimer species, consistent with a specific radical‐cation coupling mechanism.
