  The total synthesis of lipoxins A4 and B4 (LXA4 and LXB4) as well as of their all-trans isomers is reported. A study concerning the final steps of deprotection of silyl ether, cyclic carbonate and ethyl ester assisted by a high-speed scanning UV spectrophotometer has been carried out.
