An iodine-mediated synthesis strategy for rapid synthesis of sulfenamides was reported. By using iodine as oxidant, various thiophenols and amines (mainly secondary amines) could quickly and smoothly proceed the CDC reaction, affording the target N−S formation products with good yields.
