  Ausgehend von basisch substituierten Hydrazinen wurde nach bekannten Methoden eine Anzahl basisch substituierter Pyridazone hergestellt. Bei der Bereitstellung der Ausgangsmaterialien konnte der bereits bekannten 2-Benzoyl-cyclohexan-1- carbonsäure vom Smp. 139–140° die cis-Form zugewiesen werden; das epimere trans- Derivat wurde ebenfalls hergestellt.

  This invention relates to oxiranecarboxylic acid ester derivatives. There are provided 3-substituted-2-(aminocarbonyl) oxiranecarboxylic acid esters of formula wherein R is phenyl substituted by one or two groups independently selected from nitro and alkoxy or is benzoyl, R' is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or cycloalkyl, R' and R2 are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or cycloalkyl or R' and R2together represent an alkylene chain containing four or five carbon atoms; processes for their preparation; lipogenesis-inhibiting compositions containing them and the preparation of such compositions. Oxirane carboxylic acid ester derivatives of formula I have exhibited lipogenesis inhibiting activity.

  Palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative alpha-allylation of nitriles readily occurs with use of Pd-2(dba)(3) and rac-BINAP. This catalyst mixture also allows the highly regiospecific alpha-allylation of nitrites in the presence of much more acidic (x-protons. Thus, the reported method provides access to compounds that are not readily available via base-mediated allylation chemistries. Lastly, mechanistic investigations indicate that there is a competition between C- and N-allylation of an intermediate nitrile-stabilized anion and that N-allylation is followed by a rapid [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement.
