Perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA) was modified by ethylenediamine to obtain perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic diimide (PTCDI). PTCDI as an initial core was used to bond coumarin derivatives.
