In search of new antimicrobialagents with enhanced potency, we have designed and synthesized three series of hydrazones with 3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazole‐5‐carbohydrazide. All the synthesized compounds have been screened for their in vitro antibacterial and antifungal activities by employing broth microdilution method. It is observed that compounds are more susceptible to Vibrio cholerae
