Performance Evaluation of Newly Prepared Alumina Supported Polyphosphoric Acid (PPA/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) as Efficient and Reusable Catalyst for the Synthesis of 1,8-Dioxodecahydroacridines
of aluminasupported polyphosphoric acid (PPA/Al2O3), as a newly prepared and environmentally benign catalyst, for the one-pot three-component synthesis of 1,8-dioxodecahydroacridines was investigated. The results showed that the catalyst has high activity and a wide range of aromatic aldehydes easily undergo condensations with dimedone and ammonium acetate or aromatic amines undersolvent-free condition
