  A crystalline polyolefin composition which provides molded articles having improved stiffness characteristics is disclosed, comprising 100 parts by weight of a crystalline polyolefin, (A) from 0.001 to 1 part by weight of a fluorophosphite compound represented by formula (I): wherein R represents an alkylidene group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a sulfur atom; Ar1 and Ar2, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkylarylene group or a cycloalkylarylene group; and n represents 0 or 1, and (B) from 0.001 to 1 part by weight of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (1) an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid salt with lithium or sodium, (2) a dithiocarbamic acid salt with lithium, sodium or potassium, (3) a 2-mercaptobenzothiazole salt with lithium, sodium or potassium, (4) a 2-mercaptobenzimidazole salt with lithium, sodium or potassium and (5) a benzotriazole salt with lithium, sodium or potassium.   A method is provided for recovering poly(arylene sulfide) from a mixture comprising a liquid-phase poly(arylene sulfide) and a polar organic compound, wherein the liquid mixture is contacted by an amount of a liquid, vaporized, or mixed phase separation agent at least sufficient to effect or enhance a phase separation of the liquid-phase poly(arylene sulfide) component from the polar organic compound. The poly(arylene sulfide) resins recovered according to this invention generally exhibit uniform particle size and do not tend to adhere to vessel walls during the recovery.

  A flame-retardant polyethylene terephthalate-series resin composition comprises, relative to 100 parts by weight of (A) a polyethylene terephthalate-series resin, (B) 5 to 60 parts by weight of a bromine-containing flame retardant in which 5% by weight reduction from the initial weight thereof is given at a temperature of not less than 360°C under heating the flame retardant at a heating rate of 10°C/min. in a nitrogen stream; (C) 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of a crystallization accelerator; (D) 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of a colorant; and (E) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of an antioxidant. The resin composition is excellent in resistance to heat/humidity, and has a color difference represented by a ΔE value of not more than 15 under heating the composition at 210°C for 24 hours. The resin composition may comprise an antimony-containing flame-retardant synergist and/or an inorganic filler. The resin composition ensures effective inhibition of discoloration, and strikes a balance between mechanical properties and heat fading resistance.
