N-(2-Chloro-phenyl)-2-halo-benzamides (halo=I/Br/Cl) as substrates were used for the one-pot synthesis of 2-arylbenzoxazole derivatives via copper-catalyzed intermolecular C–N/intramolecular C–O couplings with primary amines.
