The stereoselective “inter-intra” cascade carboalumination of dienes and trienes with Et2AlCl and Ti(OPr-i)4 provides a novel and stereoselective route to five- and six-membered rings including fused-, bridged-, and spiro-bicyclic structures with generation of quaternary carbon centers.
