  Disclosed are selected 5-trichloromethylthioamino derivatives of 3-trihalomethyl-1,2,4-thiadiazole compounds which have the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is CCl.sub.3 or CF.sub.3 ; and wherein R.sub.2 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl and substituted phenyl wherein said substituents are lower alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, lower alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, amino, nitro, halo and mixtures thereof. These compounds are diclosed to be agricultural fungicides.
