The palladium-catalyseddirect2-, 4- or 5-arylation of a wide range of heteroaromatics with aryl halides proceed in moderate to good yields using the eco-friendly solvents carbonates. The best yields were obtained using benzoxazole or thiazole derivatives. The arylation of furan, thiophene, pyrrole, imidazole or isoxazole derivatives was found to require a more elevated reaction temperature.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein neues Verfahren zur Herstellung von teilweise bekannten Aminoethanolderivaten,
der allgemeinen Formel (I)
in welcher
R¹für gegebenenfalls substituiertes Pyridyl steht,
das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man Aminomethylketone der allgemeinen Formel (II)
in welcher
R¹die oben angegebene Bedeutung hat,
oder Säureaddukte von Aminomethylketonen der Formel (II) mit Hydrierungsmitteln umsetzt, sowie
neue Pyridylaminomethylketone der allgemeinen Formel (IIa)
in welcher
