Abstract An efficient method for the deprotection of tert-butyldiphenylsilyl (TBDPS) ethers using 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin (DBH) as catalyst and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as solvent has been established.
