    1-d-6-的一种方便的制备合成ø - (2-氨基-2-脱氧- α-d吡喃葡萄糖) -手性肌醇-1-磷酸(III)和-1,2-环磷酸酯(IV)使用据报道以D-手性肌醇为起始原料。先前已经发现化合物III在鸡胚的器官型培养物中表现为P型肌醇磷酸聚糖(胰岛素样生长因子I的假定第二信使)。现在报道的III和IV的合成大大改善了先前III的合成,并允许有效地制备这些物质用于生物学研究。

    Compounds having a mimetic or antagonistic property of an inositol phosphoglycan, and the uses of these compounds are disclosed, together with the use, e.g. to treat a condition ameliorated by administration of an IPG second messenger or an IPG antagonist thereof. In particular, the compounds are based on the 1,6 linkage of a sugar residue and a cyclitol.

    Two glycosylinositol phosphates related to putative insulin mimetics, 6-O-(2-amino-2-deoxy-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)-D-chiro-inositol 1-phosphate (1) and 6-O-(2-amino-2-deoxy-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)-D-myo-inositol 1-phosphate (2), have been synthesized from selectively protected and enantiomerically pure D-chiro- and myo-inositol derivatives. The D-chiro-inositol unit was prepared in a multigram scale from D-glucose using the Ferrier's carbocyclization route, and it was transformed into the corresponding myo epimer by an oxidation-reduction sequence. The trichloroacetimidate method was applied efficiently for the key glycosylation of the inositol derivatives.

    A convenient preparative synthesis of 1-D-6-O-(2-amino-2-deoxy-α-D-glycopyranosyl)-chiro-inositol 1-phosphate (III) and -1,2-cyclic phosphate (IV) using D-chiro-inositol as starting material is reported.
