A method of production of a nitrile copolymer rubber composition which contains a nitrile copolymer rubber, layered inorganic filler, vinyl chloride resin, and plasticizer comprising the steps of adding, to an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl chloride resin, 10 to 100 wt% of the total amount of plasticizer which is used and 0 to 100 wt% of the total amount of layered inorganic filler which is used to prepare an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl chloride resin which contains a plasticizer (A) and mixing an aqueous dispersion of a nitrile copolymer rubber (B) which may contain a plasticizer and/or layered inorganic filler and the aqueous dispersion of a vinyl chloride resin (A), then causing them to coagulate to form crumbs and filtering and drying the same is provided.
