A composition at least two different phosphites, one of which is derived from an alkylated m-cresol, wherein the composition is a liquid at ambient conditions. The other phosphites may be derived from alkylated cresol, alkylated phenol or other alkylated hydroxyaryl compounds. The cresol may be mono-alkylated or di-alkylated with a C1-C18 alkyl group.

with the increase in the hydrophobic chainlength and solution pH. Meanwhile, the inorganic salt addition had no obvious impact on it. The effect of chainlength on the mixed system was demonstrated through regular solution theory. The synergistic interaction between borate surfmers and CTAB was studied. The chain growth favored the increase in |βm| of the mixed system, indicating a strengthening interaction
Described are certain quaternary ammonium alkyl benzene sulfonate salts and certain quaternary ammonium alkane sulfonate salts, e.g., octyl dimethyl hydroxyethyl ammonium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and octyl dimethyl hydroxyethyl ammonium methane sulfonate which are useful as antistatic agents for synthetic polymer articles.
Substitution Effect, Absorption, and Fluorescence Behaviors of 11,12-Benzo-1,7,10,13-tetraoxa-4-aza- cyclopentadec-11-ene (Benzoaza-15-crown-5) Derivatives upon Cation Complexation in Solvent Extraction
Substitution effect, absorption, and fluorescence behaviors of some benzoaza-15-crown-5 derivativesupon cation complexation in solvent extraction were studied. The introduction of a substituent on the nitrogen atom in benzoaza-15-crown-5 enhanced extractabilities in the solvent extraction of aqueous alkali metal picrates. The nondonating substituents raised the cation selectivity for Na(+) over K(+)
