series of heteroleptic [Cu(phenantroline)(bisisonitrile)]+-complexes was synthesized, and their structural, spectroscopic, and electrochemical properties were investigated. The new copper(I) complexes were employed as photoredox-catalysts in the visible-light-mediated atom transfer radical addition (ATRA).
