developed a novel rhodium(I)-catalyzed cascade reaction involving the hydroacylation of a 4,6-dienal followed by cycloisomerization of the resulting 1,3-diene with an alkene, giving carbocycles containing a bicyclo[5.3.0]decenone skeleton in a stereoselective manner.
