Double elimination protocol for access to unsymmetrically substituted aromatic polyynes starting from sulfones and aldehydes
摘要:
A double elimination protocol has been established for access to unsymmetrically substituted aromatic polyynes by use of dialdehyde and substituted benzylic or propargylic sulfones as starting compounds. For this protocol, various substituted sulfones and phthalaldehydes were usable giving rise to the formation of the desired substituted aromatic polyynes. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
Palladium-catalyzed Negishi α-arylation of alkylsulfones
摘要:
A general, mild catalytic system for alpha-monoarylation of various alkyl sulfones is described that utilizes palladium-catalyzed Negishi cross-coupling approach. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
For facile access to phenylene-ethynylenes, a new methodology for construction of unsymmetrically substituted di(phenylethynyl)benzenes has been established by taking advantage of double elimination protocol of α-sulfonyl aldolates.
