The bispyrazolines 4a(a′–f′) and 4b(a′–f′) built around the aliphatic chains of varying lengths have been prepared by refluxing bischalcones 3a(a′–f′) and 3b(a′–f′) with phenyl hydrazine in alcoholic medium.
