Abstract Benzimidazoles, benzoxazoles, and benzothiazoles derivatives were synthesized from condensation of aldehydes and 1,2-phenylenediamine or ortho -aminophenol or ortho -aminothiophenol in the presence of catalytic amount of Fe(III)–Schiff base/SBA-15 in water medium.
