1,3,5-Trichlorononamethylcyclohexasilane is the first trifunctional cyclohexasilane to be reported and is produced by the reaction of dodecamethylcyclohexasilane with SbCl5 beside the mono- and 1,3- and 1,4- dichlorinated methylcyclohexasilanes. Starting from this trichloro-compound, Ph, Br, F, H, and CF3SO3- derivatives were prepared and characterized by NMR, and the structure of the phenyl derivative
