Metabolic transformation of the phytoalexin brassinin by the "blackleg" fungus
摘要:
The metabolism of a phytoalexin from Brassica species, brassinin (1), by the phytopathogenic fungus Phoma lingam was investigated and the unusual structure of the first metabolic intermediate was assigned as methyl (3-indolymethyl)dithiocarbamate S-oxide (2) based on spectroscopic data and synthesis of a methyl derivative.
brassinin, brassitin, cyclobrassinin and related compounds via 3-aminomethylindole and its 1-substituted derivatives obtained by nickelboride catalyzed reduction of corresponding aldoximes with sodium borohydride and via[1-(t-butoxycarbonyl)-indol-3-yl]methyl isothiocyanate, the first stable derivative of indol-3-ylmethyl isothiocyanate is described. Antifungal activity of the prepared compounds was examined
