  The present invention relates to 1-(4-aminophenyl)-2-piperidinopropanone derivatives which are selected from (a) the compounds corresponding to the general formula ##STR1## where R is H or CH.sub.3 CO, A is H or Cl, B is H or Cl and Z is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl; and (b) their addition salts, These products are used as cardiovascular agents. In particular, the compounds of the formula I where R=H or CH.sub.3 CO, A=B=Cl and Z=CH.sub.3, and their addition salts, are especially very worthwhile as vasodilators.
