The present invention relates to a delivery system in the form of a dynamic mixture obtained by reacting together, in the presence of water, at least one hydrazine derivative with at least one perfuming, flavoring, insect repellent or attractant, bactericide and/or fungicide aldehyde or ketone. The invention's mixture is capable of releasing in a controlled and prolonged manner said aldehyde or ketone in the surrounding environment. Furthermore, the present invention concerns also the use of said dynamic mixtures as perfuming ingredients as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's mixtures.
An article having a non-thrombogenic surface and a process for making the article are disclosed. The article is formed by (i) coating a polymeric substrate with a crosslinked chemical combination of a polymer having at least two amino substituted side chains, a crosslinking agent containing at least two crosslinking functional groups which react with amino groups on the polymer, and a linking agent containing a first functional group which reacts with a third functional group of the crosslinking agent, and (ii) contacting the coating on the substrate with an antithrombogenic agent which covalently bonds to a second functional group of the linking agent. In one example embodiment, the polymer is a polyamide having amino substituted alkyl chains on one side of the polyamide backbone, the crosslinking agent is a phosphine having the general formula (A)

P wherein A is hydroxyalkyl, the linking agent is a polyhydrazide and the antithrombogenic agent is heparin.

The present invention relates to a delivery system in the form of a dynamic mixture obtained by reacting together, in the presence of water, at least one hydrazine derivative with at least one perfuming, flavoring, insect repellent or attractant, bactericide or fungicide aldehyde or ketone. The inventive mixture is capable of releasing in a controlled and prolonged manner the aldehyde or ketone in the surrounding environment. Furthermore, the present invention concerns also the use of these dynamic mixtures as perfuming ingredients as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles that include such mixtures.
Water-borne cross-linking polymeric compositions and related embodiments, such as methods of making and using the compositions, as well as products formed with said compositions are described. For example, the water-borne composition may comprise polymers incorporating cross-linking functionality such as, but not limited to, carbonyl or epoxy functionality, and a blocked cross-linking agent, for example, a hydrazone. The cross-linking functionality does not react with the blocked cross-linking agent; however, the blocked cross-linking agent is capable of reacting with the alternative form cross-linking agent such as, but not limited to, a hydrazide, to yield a cross-linked polymer. The alternative form cross-linking agent may be formed in an equilibrium reaction including the blocked cross-linking agent.
