-deuterium rate effects on the solvolysis of (1-methylcyclohexyl)methyl, (1-methylcyclopentyl)methyl, and (1-methylcyclobutyl)methyl sulfonate esters have been measured and the solvolysis products examined by /sup 2/H NMR spectroscopy.
