A novel approach for the synthesis of heterocyclic (triazole, furoxan, furazan) fused pyridazine di-N-oxides was described. The use of PIDA as a mild oxidant enabled the synthesis of these motifs in an efficient manner, which solved the issues of harsh conditions and cumbersome manipulation of existing methods.
