Design, synthesis, in vivo, and in silico evaluation of new coumarin-1,2,4-oxadiazole hybrids as anticonvulsant agents

A novel series of coumarin-1,2,4-oxadiazole hybrids were designed, synthesized, and evaluated as anticonvulsant agents. The title compounds were easily synthesized from reaction of appropriate coumarins and 3-aryl-5-(chloromethyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazole derivatives.
